80% of British women are wearing bras that don't fit
with their trained bra fitters during lockdown. So far, 2000 women – aged 13 to 90 – have taken part.
'If your bra is riding up your back, the back size is probably too big. A lot of big-boobed women wear a back size that's too big , but we recommend going down a back size and up a cup size until the backband is firm and your boobs are fully enclosed in the cups. The backband should be firm and horizontal around your body without riding up or digging in.
'If it’s a moulded T-shirt bra, then the shape might not be quite right for you as not all of us"fit the mould!" so it might be worth trying a style with stretch lace on the cups as this moulds to your unique shape. 'If you have narrower shoulders, you could also try a full cup style with more centred straps, or a back converter which will turn your regular bra into a racer back, to prevent straps from slipping off your shoulders.
