Marvel's upcoming Blade movie should hold onto some aspects of the Wesley Snipes-led Blade movies, while modifying other elements. Released in 1998, Blade holds the distinction of being the first Marvel Comics-based movie to strike box office gold, with Wesley Snipes playing the movie's vampire hunter.
