A 52-year-old woman was fatally shot Monday during an argument at a Starbucks in Richardson, police said.
Richardson police were called about 7:15 p.m. to gunfire at the coffee shop in the 4100 block of East Renner Road, near North Star Road. It is unclear if the shooting happened outside or inside the store. Police said the 52-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman were fighting when the 23-year-old pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots, striking the woman. Investigators said the two women knew each other, but police did not say what led to the argument.The unidentified shooter was taken into police custody Monday.
