A young boy dies after being struck by a truck in Sydney's south-west. NSW Ambulance paramedics took the boy to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.

Just after 5pm emergency services were called to a trucking transport yard on Argyle Street in Picton. A five-year-old boy was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.

He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
