The man told police he was stepping out of his house around 3:45 a.m. in the 12700 block of Sandtrap Street, a San Antonio police report states. Two men, whom he did not know, each had handguns and approached the man. They demanded his gym bag and then shot him once, hitting him.Both fled the scene in a vehicle, police said. A description was not available for either, nor for their vehicle.
The man was taken to an area hospital in non-life-threatening condition to be treated for his gunshot wound.
