Netflix has released images of the streaming service’s upcoming adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender centering on the villainous Fire Nation.

Announced in 2018, the live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender has had somewhat of a tumultuous production.
7 Paul Sun-Hyung Lee’s Uncle Iroh Will Fix One Last Airbender Movie Mistake Concerning a specific image released by Netflix, the reveals centering on Paul Sun-Hyung Lee's Uncle Iroh prove to be fixing a major Last Airbender movie mistake. In the latter film, Iroh was portrayed by Shaun Toub. While Toub did an admirable job with what he was given, Iroh was drastically misinterpreted from the original show and turned into a cold, distant, frankly boring character.
That said, Netflix's images prove this is not the case with the most recent adaptation. Dallas Liu's Zuko is highlighted properly for the first time showcasing his fantastic outfit and Fire Nation ship. What's more, Zuko's physical appearance - like Lee's Iroh - looks incredibly faithful to the original character.
3 Azula Will Be Introduced Earlier Than The Original In Netflix’s Last Airbender Much like the image of Ozai reveals that he will be introduced earlier in Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender than he was in the original show, the same can be said for Princess Azula. Azula is Ozai's daughter and Zuko's sister who was only mentioned in a few offhanded comments in season 1 of the original show.
