Super Fierce Founder Trenna Probert says the average woman retiring with up to 47 per cent less superannuation is a “big problem”.

“That’s a big gap, particularly when you consider women, on average, live longer than men, and we also have 38 per cent of Australian women retiring below the poverty line,” she told Sky News Australia.

Ms Probert said over the course of an average Australian woman’s lifetime she will earn $2 million less than the average Australian man. “Whilst we don’t think men average, we also know that the average Australian woman is not worth $2 million less, and the implications of that are dire,” she said.Read More
