UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has survived the vote of no confidence against his leadership with just 63 votes helping secure his position.
Questions, however, remain to the strength of his leadership – even though Mr Johnson said the result was “decisive”.
“What it means as a government is we can move forward and focus on the stuff that I think really matters to people,” he said. “I’m grateful to colleagues, grateful for the support they have given me and of course I understand what we need to do now is come together as a government, as party, and that is exactly what we can now do.”
