Shadow Veteran Affairs Minister Barnaby Joyce has launched a scathing attack on the Labor government’s “coverup” of Qatar Airways being denied extra flights into the country. “Everybody is saying, ‘nothing to see here, nothing to do with me, don’t know anything about it’ – what, did Qatar ban themselves did they? Mr Joyce asked Sky News Australia. “The more they cover it up, the more they obfuscate, the more the Australian people are going to say, ‘mate that doesn’t stack up’. “There is one person who has the answers to these questions, all of them and her name is Catherine King. “Fess up … it’s not the decision that is getting you in trouble, it is the coverup.”
