Mr Morrow discussed the matter with University of Tennessee College of Law Professor Glenn Reynolds. “He’s … written or joined some controversial opinions in the Fifth Circuit Quarter of Appeals … having to do with trans rights and abortion and things like that,” Professor Reynolds told Mr Morrow. “But he was invited to speak and actually to talk about those and what drove those opinions – the sort of thing that people who want to be successful lawyers should want to learn regardless of what side they’re going to take on these issues. “Instead, there were about a hundred student protesters who came there and shouted him down.”
