‘Insulting’ to suggest ‘women only care’ for certain topics: Rita Panahi

Sky News host Rita Panahi says it is “quite insulting” to suggest “women only care about particular topics”.

“It has to be something to do with the gender gap or to do with childcare. That is, frankly, a little bit patronising,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

Ms Panahi said “the overwhelming majority” of women in Australia “care about the same issues that most men care about”. “That’s cost of living, what’s best for their children, jobs, the economy and things like energy costs.
