The Centre for Independent Studies’ Salvatore Babones says Chinese President Xi Jinping is the “loneliest man in the world” because he has “no natural friends”.
“Xi Jinping has three jobs: he’s the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party, he’s the president of China and he’s the chairman of the Central Military Commission of China,” Mr Babones told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“You don’t have a lot of friends when you’re putting all your friends in jail, you are lording it over them, you’re dividing them amongst themselves, amongst each other, and your approach to governance is to divide and rule.”
