Premier Daniel Andrews doesn’t want Victorians to believe that any of the “bad stuff” coming from IBAC’s findings has anything to do with him, Sky News host Peta Credlin says.
Victoria’s Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission released a damning report into the Victorian Labor Party after investigating allegations of branch stacking and misuse of taxpayer-funded staff.
“The main target of the commission’s investigation, former minister Adem Somyurek, has always maintained that the premier, as a former assistant secretary of the Labor Party and left faction boss – was up to his eyeballs in all of it,” Ms Credlin said.“That’s always been the Daniel Andrews playbook: deny that it’s got anything to do with you, and claim that the problem has now been solved anyway, so nothing to see here.
