Sky News host Peta Credlin says doing the “right thing” doesn’t mean “dividing Australians on the basis of race” or “saying that some are more equal than others”.
This comes after Greens leader Adam Bandt’s rejection of the Australian flag and Greens Senator Lidia Thorpe’s recent comments on Channel 10’s The Project that the flag does not represent her as it has “connotations to invasion and dispossession”.
Ms Credlin said the “real agenda” at work by Mr Bandt and Ms Thorpe isn’t “equality but superiority”. “It’s not about treating Aboriginal people equally but preferencing Aboriginal people over everyone else.”
