Sky News host Chris Kenny says it was instructive to see how ABC journalists tried to run some sort of defence for Anthony Albanese today.
It comes as Mr Albanese stumbled in providing an answer when questioned about Australia’s current unemployment and cash rate.
“One of them tried to joke it away, saying we should replace a leader’s debate with a trivia night,” Mr Kenny said. “Another former ABC host, Quentin Dempster, decided to attack the unemployment rate, attributing it to closed borders and saying the government claiming any credit for it is a lie.” “These people are just unhinged in their political bias, aren’t they – so much political bias that the actual facts make them angry.”
