China is reportedly considering an end to its boycott on Australian coal as it reportedly aims to prevent power outages and potential blackouts across the country. “You stand up to bullies, you hold the values and principles of your nation … when you do that, invariably, the world will look at you and they’ll look properly at you as a good global citizen,” Mr Littleproud said.

“We stood up to China and we made that clear – I think that’s a very strong lesson that the Australian people should take.”
