The Australian’s Washington Correspondent Adam Creighton says you can “just feel the embarrassment” amongst Joe Biden’s advisors in the White House amid the President’s continuing cognitive “decline”.

Mr Creighton’s comments come after the White House recently retracted a statement made by US President Joe Biden during a speech in Massachusetts. The White House had clarified the President had non-melanoma skin cancers removed before taking office last year.“The fact he said he had cancer, very clearly too, I think, is just part of a general decline of his cognitive ability – I mean, that’s not the only example.

“In the 14, 15 months I’ve been following his remarks closely – it’s been getting worse and worse, I tell you.“So, it is somewhat concerning, and you can just feel the embarrassment amongst his advisors in the White House about it.”
