Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger says Anthony Albanese has insulted the middle class, calling them dumb by talking about a permanent change to the constitution with no attempt to explain its intimate functions.
Mr Kroger blasted the Prime Minister for asking people to vote on the Voice to Parliament referendum without adequate information or reasoning.
“All of the advisory bodies the government have had for the last 30 years have all failed but this will succeed – no information on why this will succeed when everything else has failed,” he told Sky News Australia. “Particularly when the same people who were promoting the Yes campaign have been the same people advising the government all these years.
“All of a sudden, everything is going to change for the Voice … no explanation as to why that is the case.”
