Neither Carlos nor Grace was found to be responsible for the man's death, but the pair were left frustrated by the unfortunate chain of events and decided to take the law into their own hands to find justice.
The pair teamed up to track down the person who apparently placed the fake call, but they discovered that the man lived in Los Angeles, rather than Texas. So they decided to call in the help of somebody a little closer to the suspect in order to get him taken into custody – California-based Athena. As they chatted over FaceTime once the incident had been resolved, Athena suggested that Carlos and Grace had done"all the hard work", adding:"I just showed up for the fun, detective."
