8 Gangs Of New York Directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese, Gangs of New York stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a young Irish immigrant who infiltrates the gang of Daniel Day-Lewis's William Cutting, hoping to take revenge against the crime boss for his father's death. DiCaprio falters a little bit while surrounded by venerated Irish actors like Liam Neeson and Brendan Gleeson, but it's Cameron Diaz as his lover that suffers the most.
5 Four Weddings And A Funeral The movie that launched Hugh Grant's career as a sputtering British sex symbol in the '90s was nearly sunk by his love interest's wooden performance. As the beautiful American he meets at a wedding , she soon becomes the object of his star-crossed affections, but surrounded by hilarious vignettes involving some of England's top comedic actors including Rowan Atkinson and Simon Callow, her lack of personality is even more apparent.
