The Rugby Football Union’s defence is that “all profit from ticket income is invested back into rugby at all levels of the game”. But what is the game if no one coming into it can even dream of going to watch the highest level of it? “Ticket prices for the 2024 Autumn Nations Series vary in price by match and seating category starting from £44 for adults and £15 for children,” an RFU spokesperson said.
