Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has defended her party's criticism of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's travel plans amid eight Liberal frontbenchers jetting off to attend a conservative conference in the United Kingdom.

Shadow ministers Angus Taylor, Andrew Hastie, James Paterson, and Jacinta Price were joined by notable politicians, including Scott Morrison and Barnaby Joyce, at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship on Tuesday which played host to conservatives from around the world.
