Veteran television host Larry Emdur has delivered a wild speech for the ages as he took out the Gold Logie for most popular personality in Australia.

At the end of the annual show, Emdur was announced as the winner of the Gold Logie beating out the likes of Sonia Kruger, Andy Lee, Asher Keddie and Robert Irwin. "Oh, wow. Sh*t, I just remembered I did say if I won this... I was so convinced that I wasn't going to win this that I said that if I did win it, I would have all the nominees' initials tattooed on my arse live tomorrow morning. So that's...we'll see you on 'The Morning Show' tomorrow," Emdur said, as his peers roared into laughter and cheer.
"After Price is Right I took a couple of steps down and got axed and axed and axed and Sylvie and I said that's it, no more crappy shows," he said. called me about doing a show called Celebrity Dog School and I said,"We agreed not to do any more crappy shows".
