A new lounge at Detroit Metro Airport pays homage to perhaps the most notable pinup of all time: Marilyn Monroe.
Marilyn’s Lounge, inside the 270-room Delta Hotels by Marriott, serves cocktails and food with menu items named for the Hollywood vixen, such as Marilyn’s favorite cocktail: a glass of Champagne with a splash of apple brandy and Grenadine with two cherries. Other drinks include Some Like It Hot, The Bomb, Desire, and the Perfect Kiss Martini. The drinks can be paired with the Norma Jeane Salad . There’s also crab cakes , calamari , and Kobe burger .
