Melbourne City FC said six COVID-positive players remain in 'good health' after contracting the virus.

The club said the fully vaccinated players report to be in “good health” in a statement announcing the positive infections on Wednesday afternoon.

The club has been carrying out daily rapid antigen testing for all players and staff members as a precaution. “All positive cases remain in isolation and are adhering to relevant state government health directives.” Melbourne City FC can confirm that six A-League Men’s players have tested positive to COVID-19. All affected players are double-vaccinated and all report to be in good health.They will remain in self-isolation for seven days to eliminate the possibility of any further infection.
