When it comes to adaptations, reinventing the source material is not so much desirable as inevitable. Fingers crossed The Sandman delivers the goods.The premise of this miniseries from Australian creator and writer Vanessa Gazy reminds me of a twist from Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige.
