IK-6 has a notorious reputation in the Russian penal system, with widespread claims of torture, beatings, humiliation and rape of prisoners by guards and other convicts. Mr Navalny casts President Vladimir Putin's Russia as a dystopian state, run by thieves and criminals, where wrong is right and judges are corrupt representatives of a doomed elite.
