Strap in. Elie HonigHere are six key questions to watch: 1. What will Mueller say?The special counsel regulations require that Mueller file with the attorney general"a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel." This provision gives Mueller broad discretion. At one extreme, he might do as little as list everyone he has charged -- Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, Roger Stone, etc.
Erin Burnett: There was a rare sighting of Mueller 02:20If Trump does assert executive privilege, will anybody object? Will Barr agree with the executive privilege claims and simply omit or redact any disputed materials from Mueller's report? Or will Barr push back if he believes Trump has asserted executive privilege too broadly? If Barr resists, then we could end up before the courts.
