Tickets flying out for Santa's grotto inside the cockpit of a British Airways Boeing 747
Children have the chance to meet Santa on board an actual plane thanks to a new experience that's opened in Greater Manchester.
We reported earlier this year how the Boeing 747 travelled 150 miles to Salford - on the back of a lorry - after being transported from Kemble, on the edge of the Cotswolds.Airline memorabilia company Doors2Manual has opened it up as The Deck, offering a range of on board experiences including the chance to try out the UK's only public 747 flight simulator using a real aircraft flight deck.
The experience involves Christmas games and songs inside the hangar, and the chance for little ones to write a letter to Santa, before using their boarding pass to climb on board and meet the man himself inside the cockpit.
