’s suit felt particularly fresh given it was plucked from Nicolas Ghesquière’s spring 2022 womenswear collection. Given the look’s sleek tailoring and clean lines, it could easily be worn by anyone. Chalamet proved that timeless design shouldn’t be bound by gender. His choice of accessories, however, made it feel slightly more menswear.
He paired the two-piece with sleek patent ankle boots – one of his signature red carpet shoes – and tons of Cartier silver rings. Layered necklaces, also from Cartier, were a tasteful finishing touch. Overall, it was an effective lesson in the whole “less is more” approach to dressing. With a killer suit and a dash of skin, you really don’t need much else.
