Half hour of stretching and work emails, and then making my daughters’ school lunches. Then it’s green juice for my wife and me: half a head of broccoli, a big chunk of ginger, a whole-skinned lemon, baby spinach, parsley and water. This has had a positive impact on all my old injuries over the past two years.
Your green juice. That’s an excellent way to get more vegies into your day. Added to those at dinner, you met your recommended five daily serves – provided your portions were big enough.Still fall short on fibre as you don’t eat enough wholegrains, nuts or seeds. Eating a variety of fibre types is also important to fuel a healthy gut microbiome. You would also benefit from eating more protein earlier in the day, closer to your gym workout.
