Nationals Leader David Littleproud says if China were to drop trade barriers on Australian wine, it would signal an intent to shift the relationship back to mutual respect.
China recently revealed a change in tone on Australian fruit after updating a list of approved producers allowed access to the market.
“A welcome development and an incremental improvement in our relationship with China,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia.
