Amid the grand opening’s sweltering heat and scattered showers, animals took reprieve alongside a new waterfall and shaded grottos. The predators complex features species such as the Sumatran tiger, African lions, African painted dogs, cheetahs and striped hyenas. Plus, for the first time in the zoo’s 114-year history, clouded leopards and African leopards have also joined the pack.
