The AACTA Awards, Australia's equivalent of the Golden Globes, celebrated the best of Australian film and television in 2024. Other highlights included Robbie Williams' performance, the Longford Lyell Award presented to John Williamson, and the AACTA Award for Outstanding Contribution to Kelly. The event also recognized emerging talent with the AACTA Award for Emerging Talent presented to Kartanya, who received $50,000 to support their career development.
