Australian media personality Abbie Chatfield has abruptly quit her radio show, citing exhaustion and a lack of interest in the medium.
Her radio show, Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield, aired on the Hit Network from 7-9pm on weeknights, with Thursday evening’s show to be Chatfield’s last.
Chatfield said she had been thinking about leaving the radio show “pretty much all year” but had reached a decision while on a much-publicised break from work due to burnout. Chatfield told her 455,000 Instagram followers that she felt “emotionally exhausted from draining my life into all these different mediums” and wanted to cut back on her airtime. The Brisbane-raised influencer said she would instead focus on television, podcasting, live tours and “having a social life”.
