Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton says for the most part, the media was “justifiably tough” on selfish activists from environmental group Blockade Australia who “held Sydney hostage” this week.
Mr Houghton said unlike the ABC’s coverage of COVID-19 protests, in this case, it was the “heavy-handed police who set the tone for the protests by being too aggressive”.
“What a disgraceful attempt by the ABC to blame our hard-working cops who spent the week dealing with these intellectually deficient activists after they caused Australia’s largest city to grind to a halt,” he said.
