The ABC has announced leading journalist and presenter Patricia Karvelas will be taking on a new expanded role hosting a politics podcast.
The broadcaster revealed in a statement on Wednesday the new endeavor means Karvelas will be departing Radio National Breakfast which she has hosted for three years.Despite the change she will continue her current Q+A presenter role and The Party Room weekly politics wrap.Please use Kurator preview button to display the Kurator Lite crop in the story.
“I want to thank the ABC for the opportunities it has provided me through my decade here. It continues to be the most important public institution in the country in my view and I want to help build its connections with voters across the country,” she said.
