Gold Logie-nominated presenter Tony Armstrong has taken a savage swipe at ABC program Media Watch in his last show as part of the News Breakfast team.
Departing ABC News Breakfast presenter Tony Armstrong has broken his silence and taken aim at Media Watch in a cheeky dig during his final show on the morning program.
Picture: ABC, as the former AFL star was called out for reading TV and radio advertisements for insurance company NRMA, which were aired on rival network Channel 9 during its coverage of the Paris Olympics and on Nine News. Breakfast hosts Michael Rowland and Stephanie Ferrier on Friday stood with Armstrong and the crew as they farewelled their close colleague at the end of the show.
