The club had a busy summer but the boss isn't stopping with the 13 recruits this term.
Barry Robson signed 13 players in the summer and admitted the Aberdeen recruitment team has already started working on their January signing targets.
The Aberdeen manager wanted to move away from an over-reliance on loan players. It was a major summer rebuild but Robson is confident that this core of players will provide the long-term basis of this Aberdeen team moving forward. Aberdeen’s recruitment drive had been far-reaching, bringing in players from as far afield as the Australian, Polish, Israeli, Belgian and Serbian leagues. Robson knows there is always a risk making wholesale changes but it is about doing your homework thoroughly and about getting more right than wrong.
“Everyone at the club is all pulling in the same direction. It comes in different ways,” Robson explained.
