Geelong captain Joel Selwood will run through the banner with Levi Ablett, the son of club legend Gary Ablett jnr, before taking on Sydney in Saturday’s grand final.
“Our fans probably haven’t got to thank him and the family enough, so it’s just a little kind gesture we could send their way,” Selwood said., with Ablett returning from the football COVID hub to be with his family in 2020. Gary Ablett jnr walks to his guard of honour in his last game, with wife Jordan and son Levi looking on.“It’s Gaz’s turn to cheer on his little son,” Selwood told SEN earlier on Friday.
