Abortion providers and organizations may find their ability to advertise abortion services and related information restricted as more states pass anti-abortion laws following the Supreme Court’s ruling on Roe v. Wade

Illustration: Ryan Trefes Similarly, nonprofit Power to Decide, which uses Google Search ads to promote a tool called Abortion Finder that helps people find providers, is closely watching state laws to determine how they might affect its ability to advertise.

Regarding potential lawsuits, Ms. Wells said, “We’re willing to test that boundary rather than just stop providing information out of fear that it might happen.” But the ad agency that helped Plan C organize the campaign may have to remain anonymous due to concerns about liability, she said.
