Russia’s bombing of the Ukrainian port of Odessa despite an agreement to safely resume grain exports is “absolutely deplorable behaviour”, Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes says.
“The linchpin that Ukraine is when it looks at this … export of grain outside of Europe to the world, how important that port is and the fact that the world can now be looking at global food shortages,” she told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“It is just absolutely shocking behaviour from Russia. And it shows that even the rule of wars don’t apply.”
