ING Bank Australia has confirmed its investigating issues with its banking app and website on Wednesday morning.
“We are aware that some customers are currently experiencing issues accessing the ING app and website,” the update posted on Facebook said.“Our teams are investigating this issue and we will provide further updates shortly.According to outage monitoring site Down Detector, there was a spike of reports about ING around 8am, with over 2,000 problem reports made in total.
“Services are returning to normal. Most customers should now be able to access the ING app and online banking and make payments and transfers,” the update said. Some customers had trouble logging into the app and using online banking on November 14, though card payments and ATM cash withdrawal were not impacted.
