A woman who battled to lose weight for years said she has now lost so much she has developed a disease usually linked with the Victorian era.

Hart can now only manage to drink coffee and eat soup - even then, only a quarter of a cup at a time. Professor Lauren Ball, chair of Community Health and Wellbeing at the University of Queensland, said Hart's diagnosis was not surprising.
