Accused conman Peter Foster to spend festive season behind bars | tobycrockford23
An alleged repeat fraudster, accused of running a $2 million cryptocurrency scam and going on the run for six months, will spend Christmas and New Year in a Queensland prison cell.
Mr Foster is charged with five counts of fraud, two counts of dealing with identification information and one count of using false records. “I am very glad to be back in Queensland ... Oh yeah, this [case] is nonsense, this is bogus, I’m not worried about this at all,” he said at Brisbane Airport.
