The ABC understands the girl had a number of tests carried out at the hospital before a decision was made to transport her to Sydney for treatment, but she died before this could occur.
The ACT Coroner is looking into the death of a five-year-old child at the Canberra Hospital earlier this month.It is understood a number of tests were carried out over several hours.
