ACT residents up to 16 weeks pregnant will be able to access FREE medical and surgical abortions from 2023. This includes people who don't qualify for Medicare, in a bid to address the financial inequity around the access to abortions. 9News MORE HERE:

Residents, including those without a Medicare card, will be provided free medical and surgical abortion services from early next year.
