Parents of students attending Catholic and independent secondary schools in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) will face significant fee hikes of between 15 and 30 percent in 2025. Schools cite inflation and changes to government funding models, such as the Gonski 2.0, as the primary drivers behind these increases. St John Paul II College in Nicholls will see the largest hike, with year 10 fees rising to $12,068, a 29 percent jump from last year.
