Seven of the 11 hospitalised cases are unvaccinated. Two had received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. "We have heard had some reports of people attending healthcare appointments, without declaring to our staff that they are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test," she said. "You may think that a quick trip through a drive-through or a quick stop off at Woolworths with a mask is without risk but that's not the case.
