The ACT records 24 new COVID-19 cases, with at least six people infectious in the community, and six cases currently unlinked to other cases or transmission sites.

Mr Barr confirmed just over half of the ACT population aged 16 years and over had now received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

He said additional appointments — about 30,000 — were also now available for booking over the next six weeks at the mass vaccination clinic at the AIS Arena. But Mr Barr reiterated that for many people aged over 18, "the fastest way to get vaccinated and get fully vaccinated is to talk to your health professional and get an AstraZeneca vaccination today".Residential consruction has resumed during Canberra's second lockdown.
